I was very touched and saddened by your story. Keep up the fight, you have a lot to live for. I was wondering if you've looked into any connection between the ALS and Vaccines. I'm the mom of an autistic child and there is a lot of information out there showing a strong connection between vaccines and a number of diseases (ALS is one). Did you receive vaccines (IE MMR) to go back to college? If you're interested in more info please feel free to email me.

I only wish they told people more about you and the miraculous progress you've made. I wish they showed this web address so more people could take a look and offer their help and support to you. I just wish they did it a little differently so more people could see what you've been through and what you continue to go through. Hi Debi,
I too am a Debby with a different spelling. I wanted to be different when I was in the 4th grade and so I changed the spelling of my name. I considered the way you spell yours but settled on Debby. I know that this probably isn't the way most people's post to you start out, but I thought an average everyday type of email might be good to get as well. I will be watching your spot tomorrow on GMA and I hope everything goes well for you. After reading your story, all I could think of was the Jack Nicholas line in that movie "As Good As it Gets" You make me want to be a better person. I know tonight when I get home I will give my kids an exta hug good night and I will pray that soon that will be something you will be able to easily as well.
