Dear Debi and Nick, I have just read your update, and my heart goes up to you. Working through the healthcare system is a full-time job, and I just pray that you will receive more needed services, and with much less hassle. My thoughts and prayers are always with you, and I place Debi on the St. Therese Little Flower prayerline daily. The fight is long and hard, but I pray for your family to be strengthened in all ways needed and for a complete healing for Debi. Love to you and your family. Linda

Debi you are a truely amazing woman who has touched and inspired so many people through being 'just' you. You keep the Faith and keep smiling because your bringing so much sunshine to people's lifes. You and your family are in my prayers that one day you will make the dance at another Bon Jovi concert and with the determination you have already shown, I just know that you will. I am so filled with the grace of Spirit in bearing witness to your love for your sister and the tremendous outpouring of prayer that these events have brought forth.
Truly God works miracles in mysterious ways.
My wife was also hospitalized several times last month and through prayer we experienced a powerful miracle of healing in her life.
I pray that this same experience is happening for you right now. Know that Healing is Gods way. God created you out of Himself so that you would be a Light unto the darkness. Through this experience, many are called to prayer who might not otherwise pray..and as you are healed, many will be healed just by bearing witness to the miracle!
Debi, I offer a prayer for you and your family;
There is only One Presence. That Presence is God.
It is in me and I am in it. As I know this to be true for me, I know it also to be true for Debi and for her family.
I know that where she stands is Holy ground, for the living Spirit almighty indwells her.
And from this place in Unity with the One Divine Presence, I speak my healing word for Debi and call forth the Divine attributes of the Most High; knowing that peace, perfect health, serenity and divine love fill her heart, mind and body with healing energy. I pray that there is, right now, an opening, a transformative shift allowing Debi to be open and receptive to the healing power of Spirit that is moving through every cell of her body. I speak my word that right now, in this very moment, the Holy Spirit moves in Debi's conscioussness, revealing its healing Presence and removing any appearance of dis-ease, ill-health or discord. I know that even before we call, God answers and that no prayer is unanswered. Debi's Healing is taking place right now. I am so very grateful for this Word spoken, and for the healing love of Spirit that moves through the hearts of all who pray for Debi. I give thanks for this powerful demonstration of Gods Love that heals Debi in this moment, that moves through every single fiber of her existence and I give thanks for the Blessing that is Debi knowing that God created her out of Itself, so that others might be uplifted and healed of their disbelief. and so I release my Word unto the Law and allow it to go forth fulfilled, knowing that You have written, "It is Done, even before we call." and so it is. amen, amen
Peace and Blessings to you Debi and to you loving family and friends.
I will keep you in prayer...

Dear Nick & Debi,
I was so sorry to hear about your situation. I had to read about in the Edison newsletter, since I have been retired and now live in New Mexico, we are out of touch. My wife Pat and I, know the healing powers of prayer. When our son Gabriel was attacked 3 yrs. ago, that is what kept us going and kept our son alive. Today Gabe continues to get well. Both of you will be in our prayers. Nick, I know you have a lot on your plate, but I hope to hear from you. God Bless and Take Care,
Al Thieme

from the story of hope
Comments:
reading this story seems like a sign. my mother has NHL and was diagnosd 16 months ago. two weeks ago we were called by the doctors to say goodbye. But she has fought like a champ. She is right now on a ventilator because she underwent heavy chemo 2 weeks ago, and like Debi went into septic shock from a serious staph infection. She has been on the ventilator 12 days and we are waiting for her WBC to rise. It is agonizing but amazing that I stumbled upon Debi's story that seems so similar to my mom's. I think that might be a sign from somewhere that shows that people can rise out of the worst. I wish you all the best and will pray for your whole family.

Just wanted to let you know that your story is inspiring and I pray for you and everyone else that has to deal with Leukemia. I know from a first-hand basis what you are up against, as my wife died from CLL in April of 2002. It was a sad day for my children and I, but I have found peace in the fact that she is no longer suffering. Good luck to you and your family, your courage is awesome.
