My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time in your life. I'm a true believer that God gives us these challenges for a reason only known to Him. I hope and pray that you overcome this battle and never give up the fight. Keep the Faith!!

Comments:
I just wanted to say again Nick, that you are definitely my hero. The times we chat on the phone mean a lot to me and it is wonderful to hear Debi laugh in the background when you say something funny. I think of Debi everyday and realize how hard life must seem right now but with the Lord's help it will get better. Love you all, Karen

How do you know Debi?:
Unfortunately I do not know her.
Comments:
This is to let you know that You are definitely NOT alone. Everyone who has gone through this or similar knows exactly what you all are going through. My cousin back in 1995 was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins' Lymphoma. While I was on my own medical leave, it turned out that God had a reason for me to be off from work for 3 years. Why you may ask, to take care of my cousin. I almost lost her a couple of times. However, with all the prayers of family members and friends she has recovered and has been in remission since 1996. My prayers are with you and ALL of your family. And Debi is correct instead of a Day at a Time, go for STEP AT A TIME with your life. It's a lot easier that way. May God Bless ALL of you. Lots of Love, Care and Prayers. Joanne M. Garcia.

I don't, but I work for Edison.
Comments:
I don't know Debi, but can say I've walked in similar shoes. My husband, Tony Morganstein, died 3 years ago from cancer 6 weeks short of his 40th birthday. Tony worked for Edison for 20 years. I can truly say that Edison acted like a family to me at a time when I needed it most and continues to do so today. I was hired 2 years ago by SCE and am thriving today. I feel the least I can do is donate some of my vacation time to Nick when he needs it most. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Debi, Nick & Family...
I think of you as I pass thru Victorville on the 15 Fwy as I make my weekly runs out to Tecopa, CA and back... You were on my mind and in my thoughts before I heard what had happened... Your progress is wonderful, and you have come so far along... Please know that you have far more thoughts and prayers pouring your way than ever will be known to you... All things happen for a reason, and yet we may never know the reason... and it may not be our lesson, but for some other... God has plans that are unknown to us...
I just wanted to let you I was thinking of you at various odd times of the day or night as I travel by... Take care and keep on looking up...
Always... Crystal Aldrich

We will be down for a visit shortly after March 1st and can't wait to see you working that mouse...what a great set-up Nicky has created for you...
Hearing you cracking up on the phone last week is a real tribute to the healing power of laughter! Finally Nick has that "captive audience" to his own personal style of humour.

HI DEBI,
YOUR PARENTS WERE IN TO EAT AT "TWO GUYS" LAST NIGHT AND TOLD NICK ABOUT YOUR STORY OVER THIS LAST YEAR. I HAVE JUST FINISHED READING YOUR AWESOME WEB PAGES. YOU ARE BLESSED WITH SO MUCH LOVE.
I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY IN ALL OF MY PRAYERS. YOU WERE SO VERY KIND TO ME WHEN YOU FOUND OUT THAT MY DAD, WHO YOU HAD WORKED WITH AT GTE, HAD CANCER. I STILL REMEMBER BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY EVERY TIME WE SAW EACH OTHER AT ICE HOCKEY YOU WOULD ASK ME HOW HE WAS DOING.
WHAT A JOURNEY YOU HAVE TRAVELED!!!!
WITH SO MUCH LOVE POURING IN TO YOU WONDERFUL THINGS WILL BE IN YOUR FUTURE.
NICK, PLEASE LET NICK & I KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING WHATSOEVER WE CAN HELP WITH. NICK IS GOING TO GIVE YOU A CALL. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.
